It started off being developed from a live portrait sitting at the M21 medieval festival in Much Wenlock. Now I take it into the fantasy world of a The Medieval Sitting Duk

The Medieval Sitting DukA reported Story of a Man, alias Claude De Tomus, who comes from the 21st Century, but is being sent back in time to live in Medieval Britain because of the governmental welfare cuts and reforms effecting all of us…… HERE and NOW! the Mayor of MuchWenlock, Lesley Durbin sits live for here portrait by Tanya RaabeArtworksFrom a series of six live portrait sittings three paintings emerged evoking a dark yet rich triptych of images. When the paintings were combined with reclaimed paraphernalia they grew into a ‘grace’ of assemblages. This provides the viewer with a series of metaphors born out of a story of our times set in Medieval Britain that carries the values of a 21st century government. ‘Living in a Disabling World’.
At the M21 press Conference yesterday i met the Mayor of Much Wenlock my next subject sitting live this Sunday 11;30am -2;30pm Priory Hall MuchWenlock – join us in conversation as the painting reveals its self befor your EYES!
